Gleditsia triacanthos var. inermis ‘Sunburst’
Easily established and once it is, will tolerate drought. Foliage is golden yellow colour until midsummer, then mid to dark green. Fall colour of pale yellow. Fallen leaves quickly disintegrate; raking rarely needed. Likes deep, fertile, well drained soil. Tolerates urban pollution.
Prune in fall, older trees rarely require pruning.
